What is this section about?

Here is a list of transformative books, articles, and videos I recommend. The following gems have added supreme value to my life, as they contain powerful seeds that have nourished my life in a wealth of ways. This list is in no way exhaustive, but it does contain a collection of items I believe you find to be extremely useful.

As a Man Thinketh - James Allen

James Allen is a pioneer of self-realization. He stands as one of my biggest influences, as I have devoured nearly all of his books. His ideas about Truth, Humanity, and Self-Actualization have served as a major Light House of Truth that helped me find my Path in life.

The first book I suggest reading is a short thirty-two book called As a Man Thinketh. This book outlines his basic philosophy of self-improvement, one that is crucially important when cultivating a life of meaningfulness.

Personally, I have experienced two life-changing epiphanies during my journey of connecting with the emotion of his words. I highly recommend reading everything he has to offer. As a side note, his book, As a Man Thinketh, added momentum to the self-help movement in the early late 1800s, as it is was a driving force that inspired the Film and Book "The Secret".

"Circumstances do not make the man, they reveal him to himself." - James Allen

The Four Agreements - Miguel Ruiz

“I will no longer allow anyone to manipulate my mind and control my life in the name of love.” ― Miguel Ruiz

Written by Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements is a best seller book about achieving Emotional Freedom. In particular, he brings to light four Empowering Principles that he believes are key towards establishing a life of Love, Truth, and Freedom. This book has over five thousand (five stars) on Amazon. It is certainly a book I highly recommend, one that I found to be deeply transformative.

One of the things I really like about his book is the fact that it is not simply a motivational book, it carries the weight of a solid foundation of principles, which prioritizes our emotional freedom and health.

1) Be Impeccable With Your Word.
2) Don't Take Anything Personally.
3) Don't Make Assumptions.
4) Always Do Your Best.

How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie
"It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it." ― Dale Carnegie

Dale Carnegie personifies a man of great social acumen. Through his life, he demonstrated a sharp knowledge of the human condition. In his book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, he provides a blueprint for Social Success. His principles are timeless and powerful while his language is clear, simple, and accessible. By the title of his book, it immediately gives off a certain indication that he is manipulative, but that is far from the truth.

This precious ruby of a book is one for the records. Personally, I have applied many of the techniques, attitudes, and perceptions advocated by Mr. Carnegie, and have achieved great success.

One of the fundamental ideas of his approach towards self-development is that social networking is stepping stone towards the greatest caliber of human success. It is important to acknowledge the inescapable fact that we live in a social world and we need to learn how to connect with others to survive.

One of the things I love about his philosophy is the fact that it is based on truth and being genuine. Ultimately, this is not a guide on how to push your agenda on others, instead it could be classified as a recipe on how to be a good person.
